Y.U.M.M.Y. and light fare!!!!

My heading is "searching for art, no matter the form"
and in my opinion....a beautiful, colorful food dish
can fall under that category, too!! ;)
This post is just a small recipe that is pretty once
pulled together, quick, easy, light, tasty and absolutely
great for hot summer days, too!!!

You can add/subtract to make it your own but I'm
kind of partial to this version.

CREAMY GRAPE SALAD

1 1/2 lb. green grapes, halved
1 1/2 lb. red grapes, halved
1 jar (red) marachino cherries, halved
1-2 cups walnuts, chopped fine
4 oz. light cream cheese
8 oz. light sour cream
2 T. sugar free maple syrup
2 tsp. vanilla
2-3 packets of sweetener
1/4-1/2 c. skim milk

Wash and halve fruit, blot with paper towel
to remove excess water. In another bowl mix
remaining ingredients, then add fruit and toss
to coat well. Chill for about 1-2 hours
before serving. Find some adorable vintage glassware
to serve them up in like custard, sundae, tea cups, wine
glasses, just let your imagination go wild!! Toss on
extra walnut pieces just before serving and wait for all
the compliments to come your way!! LOL ;)

Hope you enjoy this as much as my family does!! Have
an awesome day!! Gigi ;)
