Sometimes people affect us in many ways, even when we
never knew or met them.
Take for instance this beautiful mirror that now sits on my
mantle. It is from a beautiful dresser that was handed down
to my husband when his great uncle passed on.
We've had it in the garage for a long while, I never
actually saw it when it was placed there....so, to come upon
it left me in awe. The beauty of its design, the curves, shapes
and artwork are incredible! I knew it had to come inside and
take a place of honor....it may sit alittle high to peer into....but
it's reflection is much deeper.
Each time I pass by it, I think of my husbands great uncle. I am
so appreciative of this man that I have never known not only
for this mirror and dresser but also for the fact that he had so
much to do with why we now have our home. In a roundabout
way, we inherited it directly from him.....if not for him, we may
not have a place to call our own. I have much love for his memory.
Sometimes we will never know who is affected by us or the things
we do and say. Whos life have you touched today, if even in the smallest way?
**Have a good weekend.....Gigi**
